Personality: Araseli is a rather shy young lady. She tends to be rather quiet around those she’s unfamiliar with, and is extremely skittish around loud and forceful personality. However, she is a very kind person and if you’re kind back, she will open up rather quickly. Around friends, she loves to have fun. Araseli is also extremely clumsy which is a trait from her mythos lacking legs. This has caused her to have a rather low self-esteem when it comes to things she has difficulties with, and she will give up on those things rather easily.

History/Description: Araseli was born an only child in a small town in central Mexico to Amphiptere parents. Despite living in such a small town, her parents were fairly well off in terms of money. Her mother worked as an archeologist while her father traveled as a Whisper. Because of this, she was regularly left alone with her mother. She often went with her mother to ancient Aztec site where she developed her love for learning about the past.

As a pure-blood Amphiptere Mythos, Araseli grew up “alongside” her ancestors. Ever since she was little, her mother would tell stories of her ancestors and thus was exposed to the idea of the Chancel at a very young age. She would often pretend to be the Keepers when she visited the Aztec ruins in hopes of eventually becoming one.

Araseli eventually received a scholarship to a university in the United States where she studied for a major in archeology. She was later recruited as a Keeper by the Chancel and made a Whisper due to her hypnotic ability. Due to her lousy fighting ability and very clumsy nature, the Chancel made sure she was partnered with her Guardian, Shasta.


Extra:
Although she speaks English (well, Spanglish), Araseli has a tendency to switch almost completely to her native language, Spanish, if she's uncomfortable or stressed, or if those around her speak and/or understand it.
Araseli is of Nahuatl (Aztec) descent.
Despite her shy nature, she will become very serious and forward when it comes to missions and battles, especially if she's with those she knows.
Although she's extremely clumsy off the court, she's actually very talented at Ulama, a modern version of the ancient Aztec ballgame, Ullamaliztli.
The Sacred Dagger is located on the back of the ruby pendant passed onto her by her mother when she was recruited into the Chancel.

Relationships:
Shasta Smith - Her partner and fellow classmate. Although they don't see each other as much anymore, she still relies on him for missions and occasion tutoring.
Apache - He took her flying in his true form the first time they met and have become very close since. She views him as a father-figure and calls him "Papí".
Nicholas Arvanitis - Her first real friend at the Chancel. She's extremely attached to him and views him as an older brother and a second guardian.
Dyami Soloman - She opened up rather quickly to him, and now they're together.
Hisoka Kono - She really opened up to him during a training mission, and now views him as another older brother. She calls him "Zorro" (fox in Spanish) after not knowing his name for the longest time.
Sorsha Ivanov - Known as "Mamá Sorsha", she one of the rare few that she immediately opened up to. It's started with a warm hug in a cold place, and since she's become kind of a mother-figure for her.
Dutch - She immediately took the childish boy under her wing and views him as a younger brother. She's quite protective of him, and hates to see him upset.
Sareh Allana "Sahar" - She was terrified of her at first, but eventually warmed up to her. She likes that she's a snake-like mythos like her.
Fan Ying Ning - She's been on a few missions with him and he's helped her when her clumsiness has gotten the better of her.
